Ben Hansen from the SyFy Channel's Fact or Fake Visits Arizona

Ben Hansen from the SyFy Channel's TV series Fact or Fake: The Paranormal Files was in the Phoenix area on November 13th, 2010.  Ben was kind enough to send out a Tweet to everyone that follows him on Twitter inviting them to meet him at a local restaurant for a meet and greet. 

Steve, Jen and Lloyd went out to meet Ben at the Souper Salad at 1649 S Stapley Rd in Mesa.  Ben arrived at 6:00 PM and met up with some people that he knows locally.   We went over and introduced ourselves to Ben and his friends and we were invited to sit and chat with them.  We were able to chat with Ben and everyone there for about 2 1/2 hours.  A few other people showed up and joined in with us in our conversations.  Ben graciously posed for photographs with us and the other people who showed up as well as with the entire staff of the Souper Salad.

We were able to ask questions about particular episodes and get a little more detail about events in episodes that were left on the cutting room floor due to the time constraints that are imposed upon the production of the program.  We also discussed a variety of topics from hauntings, creatures, and of course Ben's favorite topic, UFO's.  We weren't able to discuss details about upcoming episodes, but he says that there are some pretty cool things to look forward to.
